A little bit about me and my story.
I’ve now been working with hair for 13 years. Wow, I actually feel sick writing that down. Time has literally flown by, but my career didn’t start with bridal. I began my journey in South Kensington London, Training in Level 2 Ladies Hairdressing. Learning from incredible hairdressers in the industry and working with all different hair types. I was put into uncomfortable situations quickly, which definitely helped build my confidence and taught me that everyday really is a school day.
I was a bit of a late comer starting at 19, I would travel an hour and half each way, 5 days a week to pursue my hairdressing career. I knew if I didn’t take this opportunity then, I probably would never had stepped into this world. Fast foward to today, I am now on my own path, creating my own story as a UK based bridal hairstylist, working with brides in Essex, London & beyond.
Why Bridal?
I often get asked, “Do you still do hairdressing, Or just bridal?”
My natural transition was to fall into hairstyling only, reason being, I was never in love with hairdressing itself.
Hairstyling is what I have always been truly passionate about, so back in 2021, after my own wedding, I decided to take the plunge and promote that I was a Bridal Hairstylist.
My very first brides were my cousin Amy and another Cousins friend Chessie. I will never forget my very first brides, the first who trusted me, the first who encouaged hope in this career, the first who loved my work.( I have obviously improved hugely since then). But we all have to start somewhere, and this was the beginning of my adventure.
Those weddings were actually back in 2015. So from this point on, I have been learning, becoming my own brand and growing each year.
Fast track to today, I have been awared by The Wedding Industry Awards Highly reccomended for East of England 2026.
What an achievement, I honestly dont think I will get over this feeling, when my name was announced, I was shocked and scared of the thought of going on stage, so if you have ever seen someone run fast in heels, check out my instagram here for a giggle.
